Sonoma County CSA
Following are a series of posts documenting our experience at the Green Valley Community Farm in west Sonoma County, where we are members of the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), aka a "farm share."
Our experience with CSA's has been to go to a local market or small farmstand and pick up a pre-sorted box of vegetables. Greens tend to get wilted and you're subject to too much of any one thing (zucchini, for many folk!). Green Valley is so much more immersive, where we are selecting exactly what we want for the week, and supplementing that with the U-Pick farm, herbs and flowers.
Without further ado, we hope you enjoy browsing our experience at the farm, and hope, too, that you also consider supporting your local agriculture partners and foodshed.
