4am is a peculiar quiet. Even the subtle sounds cease. No rumble from a passing municipal bus. No rattle of pipes from water running two floors above. No hum from a passing Metro train. I am awake to hear the sound of silence. I lie in bed for an hour, then a half hour more. I rise, work for a …
Two Sides of Montmartre
Montmartre sits at the highest point of Paris. It is topped by the basilica of Sacre Coeur, as close to God as a Parisian might hope to get, at least in terms of altitude. We visit at night. It is wet, but not rainy. People gather on the steps, drinking rosé, rolling their own. Vendors hawk glow toys and gold-painted …

Paris…An exquisite Queen of the Universe…
To know Paris, is to love her. Paris is impeccably dressed for the occasion at all times, divinely inspired by the sheer genius of her creative nature, as she passionately celebrates the beauty of life in each and every moment. Her passion for life and art inspires and creates reality, naturally and spontaneously for all to enjoy. Paris, Queen of …
The 35 Hour 1 Hour Flight to London
(from 06.28-06.29) 3:50am. The iPhone alarm chirps us awake. An early start to an easy travel day. A puddle-jumper from Aberdeen to London, arriving in time for a late breakfast. If there are any signs that today would be an unusual travel day, I miss them.
Travel tip…be ready for spontaneous and divinely orchestrated events to occur at anytime!
“Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, That’s why it’s called the Present.” and equally as great, “It’s the journey, not the destination.” I believe we are all pretty familiar with these popular quotes. How often have we fully embraced the wisdom and the reality of these words? How else would spontaneous and divinely orchestrated events occur …
The Dunes and Beach of Findhorn
(06.13) Morning meeting with Dürten and Paul, then lunch at the CC. I craft a proposal on my exchange with the Foundation, email it off. Ali Sun returns from a long walk; I am ready for a break and head off past houses, caravans, sheds doubling as shops, giant Scotch distillery barrels recycled as homes.
Hitting The Ground in Findhorn
(06.12) A long, uninterrupted slumber, then up by nine, have a shower. The kitchen is stocked with freshly baked bread, granola, eggs, butter, milk, soy milk, preserves and more. I grab a couple pieces of toast, head out to see Paul who’s in a meeting.
Cluny Hill – Forres, Scotland
Today is our last day perched up here on Cluny Hill, a lovely gem shining in the town of Forres, Scotland, five miles from the village of Findhorn. We have been here for five days since we departed “The Caravan Park” last Saturday. We were generously offered alternate accommodations at Cluny, as our nest at “The Park” was to become …
